Made from traditionally pit-tanned leather, the cover highlights the authentic texture and strength of the hide. Pit tanning is a time-intensive method that uses plant-derived tannins to slowly tan the leather over weeks or even months, creating a firm yet durable material with remarkable depth and character. With continued use, the surface gradually softens, gains a gentle sheen, and develops a distinctive patina - making each cover uniquely shaped by its owner’s daily life.

The cover holds standard A5 size notebooks such as MD notebook, Hobonichi Cousin and Stalogy 365.
