[Available from August 2nd] eric x Hitsujiya x CTFJ - Japanese Sweets

For this special collaboration, we asked eraser stamp artist eric to create illustrations of sweets from Hitsujiya and Tokinose. The project began after we had the opportunity to work together at Hello, Harajuku!, an event we hosted last year.

Hitsujiya is a traditional Japanese sweets and candy shop in Fukuoka. The shop is filled with colorful, cute treats, all beautifully packaged. eric was inspired by their small, rounded shapes, which reminded her of the look of eraser stamps.

Its main shop, Tokinose, is a traditional Japanese confectionery located within the grounds of Umi Hachimangu Shrine in Fukuoka. Each beautiful wagashi is carefully handcrafted to reflect the changing seasons. We had the pleasure of visiting Tokinose together with eric, and its special setting - with both the shop and workshop inside the shrine grounds - gave us an even deeper appreciation for the seasons and the beauty of Japan.

Who is eric?
eric is a Japanese eraser stamp artist and illustrator whose motto is "Hello, Small Things!" She is known for her intricately detailed illustrations of tiny, everyday objects - stationery, tools, and the small things tucked away in life's corners - rendered with a warmth that feels both nostalgic and utterly delightful. Her work spans stationery collaborations, exhibitions, and workshops, and she has published a book on the art of eraser stamp making.
