Who is Pan Dorobo?
Pan Dorobo is the star of Keiko Shibata's hit picture book series, first published by KADOKAWA in 2020. He's actually a mouse who disguises himself as bread using a hollowed out loaf, sneaking around bakeries with a knack for shape shifting into whatever bread is on hand. Mischievous but never quite unlikeable, Pan Dorobo has become a beloved character across Japan, with the series' many books selling well over a million copies combined.
