Who is Sanlemo?
Sanlemo is a Japanese illustrator known for their bold, vitamin-bright illustrations that blend 1980s nostalgia with a fresh, contemporary edge. Their signature "new retro" style — full of color, energy, and playful charm — has attracted many fans. Their work spans magazines, advertising, apparel collaborations, and stationery, and they created the opening illustrations for the NHK morning drama series Omusubi.
